
Wisconsin sends nine to NCAA Championships

The Badgers qualify for six individual events and four relays
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's swim and dive team will send nine student-athletes to the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 25-28. The Badgers will be competing in six individual events, as well as four relays.
Senior Dominik Mark Torok will be representing the Badgers in two individual events. The senior is seeded eighth in the 400 IM and 13th in the 200 fly.
In the 200 free, freshman Enzo Solitario is seeded 17th with a time of 1:31.85 and junior Luukas Vainio is seeded 21st with a time of 1:31.95.
Sophomore Yoav Romano will be representing Wisconsin in the 500 free, where he is seeded 25th. Senior Ben Wiegand will be competing in the 100 breast, seeded 22nd.
Drew Gaerthofner, Charlie Jones, Cooper Scharff and Nathan Welker also punched their ticket to Atlanta as relay alternates. Wisconsin will be competing in four relays: the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free and 800 free.
