Julia Herring collects 260.60 points on the 3-meter
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Wisconsin women's dive team wrapped up the second day of competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in College Station on Tuesday afternoon.
The Badger junior trio of Julia Herring, Ryane Neal and Vivian Kinnard competed on the 3-meter board, picking up solid placements in the afternoon's preliminary session.
Herring led the Badgers with 260.60 points, averaging a 43.43 score per dive. Her points earned a 30th-place finish, just over 20 points behind the last qualifier for the evening finals session.
Neal and Kinnard rounded out the Badgers with 248.70 points and 195.85 points, respectively.
Competition concludes tomorrow with platform diving. Prelims will begin at noon (CT) with finals at 2 p.m. (CT).
