Lindeque and Skoraczewski move up in UW record book

UW throwers enjoy success in Milwaukee on Saturday
MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin women's track and field team had a strong showing at the Panther Tune-Up on Saturday, winning the weight throw and the shot put.Â
Nora Skoraczewski won the weight throw with a toss of 66 feet, 5 1/4 inches (20.25m), moving her from No. 10 to No. 9 on the school's top-10 list. Morgan Flaska placed second, throwing her personal best of 62-1 (18.92m).Â
Junior Zonica Lindeque continued the success for UW throwers, winning the shot put with a personal best toss of 54-11 ¼ (16.74m). This mark moved her from No. 8 to No. 5 on the school's top-10 list.Â
UP NEXT: The Badgers will head to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Indoor Championships. The meet will span three days as action begins on Thursday, Feb. 26 and concludes on Saturday, Feb. 28.Â
