Badgers finish 15th at Big Ten Indoor Championships

Robbins, Kelley lead way for UW in individual events
INDIANAPOLIS - The Wisconsin women's track and field team completed their weekend with four top-10 finishes during Saturday's Big Ten Indoor Championships.Â
UW finished in 15th place with 15 points, as Oregon notched a Big Ten Indoor Championship with 131 points. Illinois followed with 82, while USC earned bronze with 76 points.Â
Kiley Robbins earned the highest rank among the Badgers on Saturday, as the graduate student turned in a sprint of 7.32 seconds in the 60-meter dash to earn seventh place and a podium finish.Â
Emma Kelley and Mya Bunke each collected points for UW after passing the trials in yesterday's action as well. Kelley finished the 800 meters in 2:05.83, while Bunke covered the mile in 4:44.86.Â
Danni Langseth finished in the top-10 of the shot put competition with a heave of 55-5 ½ (16.90m) that gave her ninth place overall.Â
Up Next: A select group of individual Badgers will make their way to the NCAA championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on March 14 and 15 to compete for a title against the best of the best from around the nation.Â
