Brown-Samper named to All-Freshman Team, Raimbault earns Sportsmanship Award
MADISON, Wis. - Two Wisconsin men's soccer players earned Big Ten postseason honors, announced by the conference Thursday.
Isaac Brown-Samper earned a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman team. The defender played in all 16 games for the Badgers, starting in 15. He tallied 1,252 minutes played for third best out of all Wisconsin players. The Connecticut native earned an assist in Wisconsin's 2-1 victory over Milwaukee.
Senior Thomas Raimbault was recognized as Wisconsin's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree. Raimbault paced the Badgers' offense with 12 points and was a team captain.
Wisconsin ended the regular season with an 8-8-0 overall record, its fifth consecutive season at .500 or better. The Badgers finished sixth in the Big Ten standings with 12 points (4-6-0 record).
