Clean sweep on Senior Day

Badgers win all 14 events
MADISON, Wis. – The No. 12 women's Wisconsin swimming and diving team put up a clean sweep on Senior Day against Northwestern, winning it 205.5-93.5 on Saturday afternoon
Phoebe Bacon cleaned up in her events once again, winning both the 100 backstroke and 200 IM in addition to the 400 medley relay.
Maddie Waggoner outlasted the competition in a grueling 1000 freestyle finishing first with a time of 9:37.65. Right behind her was Paige McKenna, finishing with a time of 9:37.67.
Hazal Ozkan had a fantastic showing, winning two different breaststroke events. First, she won a thrilling 100 breaststroke in a close finish with teammate Bridgit McGann. Following that performance, she outdid herself with another win in the 200 Breaststroke this time putting some distance between herself and the competition.
The Wanezek sisters' showed up in a big way today, both winning events. First, Abby Wanezek took the win in a hard-fought victory in the 100 freestyle. Next, Maggie Wanezek finished first in the 200 Backstroke.
The Badgers were dominant in the 200 freestyle taking the top 3 spots. Abby Carlson was able to win the event with teammates, Callahan Dunn and Blair Stoneburg right behind her.
The diving team had a solid day as well, bringing home the win in the 10M Platform. Ryane Neal finished first with a score of 235.95. Just behind her was teammate Molly Hampton with a score of 218.33.
