Badgers draw No. 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament

Wisconsin will face No. 4 seed Maryland in College Park on Nov. 5
MADISON, Wis -- After clinching a dominant 2-0 shutout over Ohio State in its last regular season game of the season, the Wisconsin men's soccer team will now turn its sights to the postseason as the Big Ten Tournament starts next weekend.
The Badgers (8-4-4 overall, 4-3-1 Big Ten) drew the No.5 seed and will face fourth-seeded Maryland (10-4-3, 5-1-2) in College Park, Maryland on Nov. 5 at 12 p.m. CT.
The two teams will match up in the Big Ten Tournament for the second time in program history, including when the two squads battled it out in the championship game last season.
The Badgers and Terrapins played in a thriller in the regular season in Madison. The Terrapins edged the Badgers 5-4 in what was one of the highest-scoring and most exciting matches of the season for both teams. Tom Barlow, Mark Segbers, Chris Mueller and Nikola Atlija all found the back of the net against the top-ranked Terps.
