The Badger Swim Camp focuses on intensive condition and offers thorough stroke analysis on an individual basis each day. Attention is also given to the training principles involved in successful competitive swimming, and each camper will receive personal video stroke analysis.
The camp includes daily work in technique, including starts, turns and racing instruction, as well as intensive water and dry-land training and daily discussions on nutrition, goal-setting and other principles of successful swimming.
Campers will train with the UW coaching staff, as well as several student-athlete counselors, while living on campus from Saturday to Wednesday. Cost of the camp includes three daily meals, housing, a camp t-shirt and instructional materials.
