UW Won't Compete in Rainbow Classic

The University of Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving teams will not compete in the Dec. 31 Rainbow Classic in Honolulu, head coach Eric Hansen announced.
"With the training we're doing in preparation for the second half of our season, we didn't feel that this meet would fit in with our plans," Hansen said.
UW is still scheduled to compete in a meet against Hawaii, Texas A&M and South Dakota Jan. 7, 2005 in Honolulu.
