- Five-time member of the U.S. Women’s National Team for the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships, winning gold in 2005, 2008 and 2009, and silver in 2004 and 2007
- Named to the WCHA’s 10th anniversary top 10 team
- Named to the WCHA’s 25th anniversary top 25 team
- Part of the Brampton Thunder team that won the first championship of the CWHL in 2008
- The Molly Engstrom Award, introduced in 2011, is presented annually to Wisconsin’s top prep defenseman
- Two-time WCHA Defensive Player of the Year
- Helped UW earn its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2005
