MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's basketball team travels to Piscataway, New Jersey for a Big Ten Conference road test against Rutgers on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT on BTN.
1) BIG TEN BEASTS:Â Since 2001-02, Wisconsin owns the best win percentage and most wins among Big Ten teams, posting a mark of 218-97 (.692). UW has clinched a top-four finish in the Big Ten in 17 of the last 18 seasons. No other Big Ten team can make that claim. Over the last 15 seasons, UW is 132-25 (.840) in Big Ten home games, the best mark in the conference.
2) RELIABLE REUVERS: Wisconsin has received consistent production from junior
Nate Reuvers, who has scored in double figures in all nine of Wisconsin's games, including a 20-point outing in Saturday's win over Indiana. The Minnesota native leads all Badgers in scoring and rebounds, averaging 15.4 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game. Reuvers has also emerged as an elite defensive presence, tallying 23 blocks on the season. The dynamic big man now has 109 rejections in his career, which is good for seventh place on UW's all-time list.
3) NCAA TOURNAMENT REGULARS: Wisconsin is one of five schools to participate in 20 of last 21 NCAA tournaments, joining Kansas, Duke, Michigan State and Gonzaga.That stretch includes a run of 19 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, which is the 6th-longest stretch in NCAA history.The Badgers are one of three teams to reach the Sweet 16 in six of the last nine seasons, advancing to the tournament's second weekend in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Kansas and Kentucky are the only other 2 schools to reach six of the last nine seasons.
4) THE SCARLET KNIGHTS:Â Rutgers (6-3) is led by by sophomore Ron Harper Jr. who is averaging 12.8 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game on the season. The Scarlet Knights enter Wednesday's contest coming off two straight road losses after going 6-1 to start the season. Most recently, Rutgers battled to within one point on multiple occasions in the second half at No. 11/12 Michigan State (6-3), but was unable to hold off the Spartans in a 77-65 loss.
5) RETURN OF THE KING:Â Redshirt sophomore guard
Kobe King broke out last Saturday with a career game against Indiana to lead the way in an 84-64 win. King led the Badgers in scoring against Indiana, putting up a career high 24 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the floor with four rebounds and a block.

The Badgers got back on track in their opening Big Ten Conference matchup beating the Indiana Hoosiers 84-64 at the Kohl Center Saturday afternoon.
- Kobe King led Wisconsin in dominat fashion, finishing with 24 points and four rebounds. Nate Reuvers added 20 points and four rebounds for Wisconsin.
- The Badgers edged out the Hoosiers 29-28 in the rebounding battle.
- The Badgers shot 53.6 percent (30-56) from the field and 40 percent (8-20) in the win.
SERIES VS. RUTGERS
- Wednesday's game marks the 10th-ever meeting between Wisconsin and Rutgers in a series that began in 1949. The Badgers are 7-2 all-time against the Scarlet Knights.
- The Badgers are 4-2 against Rutgers since RU joined the Big Ten in 2014-15. Greg Gard has gone 4-1 against the Scarlet Knights.
- Wisconsin and Rutgers will meet again on February 23 when the Scarlet Knights make a return trip to Madison.
- In five meetings against Gard-led teams, Rutgers is averaging 58.2 points per game and hasn't scored more than 64 points in any game.
